During 2008, the Glòries business incubator hosted 71 companies, which generated 356 new jobs. 

Today, 48% of business installed in the Incubator carry out their activity in the information and communications technologies sector; but also have a relevant presence, companies that developed their activity in the fields of environment and renewable energies, as well as microelectronics, the media and people services.

56% of entrepreneurs are between 26 and 40 years of age, 75% have university studies and 16% are foreigners, mainly from the European Union. 

In the past 4 years, 4 business had access to venture capital and 12 has been financed by business angels.

29% of companies installed have a good presence in international markets.

In addition, 92% of business which have been housed in this environment for 2 or 3 years, are still "alive" four years after their creation. The longer the stay in the incubator, the more probable it is that the company is still alive and in good health, as demonstrated by the fact that they have an average of 10 employees and a turnover of 1.001.066 euros.
