Barcelona-Nord Technology Park  is aimed at companies that:  
- Started  their activity at least eighteen months ago and do not need more than 200 m2.
- Are promoted in more than 50% of the share capital by individuals, most of whom are working in the company. The participation of organizations such as business angels or venture capital is excluded from this consideration.
-  Are technology-based companies, preferably engineering companies and with their own product.
-  Develop a legal and ethical activity, appropriate to the facilities and do not represent any social or environmental hazard.
- Are innovative and provide a unique value or represent an improvement for the local environment.

Companies based in the area of Barcelona will be given priority.

The procedure to apply for an office in the Barcelona-Nord Technology Park is as follows:


1) The company has to submit:
• An executive summary, in accordance with the Barcelona Activa model or another similar one which contains the same information.
• CVs of the entrepreneurs
• Balance sheets and income statement for the last year and forecasts of the next 3 years. 



2) Once submitted, Barcelona Activa review the documentation and the company to convene a meeting if deemed appropriate



3) The Applications will be judged with the following criteria: 
- Technical and economic viability of the company. Growth potential.
- Compliance with requirements to access the Technology Park.
- Level of innovation or improvement to local environment.  

4) The approved projects will be rated for purposes of prioritizing its entry on the basis of following criteria: 
- Degree of innovation of product or service. 
- Creation of jobs. 
- Potential for growth. 
- Inclusion of ethical management (environment, employment of people with special difficulties reconciling work and family life, not discrimination based on sex ...). 
- Activity related to emerging sectors. 
- Incorporating quality management systems. 
- Entrepreneurship promoted by women. 
- Entrepreneurship sponsored by people with physical or mental disability. 
- Entrepreneurship sponsored by people older than 40 years. 
- Degree of use of ICT in the activity of the company. 
- Potential synergies with companies in the environment. 
- Commitment of promoters with the objectives and activities of Barcelona Activa. 
- Experience in the sector. 
- Experience in business management.
